A business notebook needs to be tough, rigid and resilient, yet as lightweight as possible with a sophisticated appearance. So we chose carbon fibre construction for the VAIO Z and TT, a material favoured by the designers of F1 racing cars and business jets.
Layers of fibre are stacked and bonded to create a shell that’s 200% more rigid and 30% lighter than traditional materials; and composite carbon is used in the base and corners providing four times the rigidity of plastic.
The result is sleek, stylish, but very very strong.
