Highlight Playback uses three methods to choose what footage to feature in the package:
Face Detection technology analyses the video for facial features to create an initial playlist.
Smile Shutter technology gives priority to scenes featuring happy expressions.
Finally, Highlight Playback accesses clips where the dual record function (Dual Rec) was used to take a photo.
Once the scenes are selected they are linked with transitions to create an edited package with background music; all ready to share with friends and family on your HD TV, via HDMI.
You can customise your highlights too:
Choose a date range to select clips from, and decide if you want them to appear randomly or in chronological order.
Choose the atmosphere and mood you wish to achieve using the Theme feature. Then select a music track to accompany your highlights.
You can even pull music tracks across from your PC, using the easy-to-use software supplied with your Handycam. So the soundtrack for your precious memories will be your favourite music.
