The α330 and α380 incorporate a tilting pentamirror within the camera body, so the subject image can be directed from the lens to the optical viewfinder for standard image framing, or to a special sensor when framing a picture on the Variable-angle LCD in Quick AF Live View mode.

Quick AF Live View uses phase-detection technology to focus much faster than the contrast Auto Focus systems commonly used in compact digitals. So you’ll never miss that perfect shot.

Switching between the two modes is as simple as flicking a switch on the top of the camera.
