Power to the music: the new portable wireless speakers from Sony

New portable wireless speakers

Sydney, 30 April 2015 – Sony’s new portable wireless speakers make it easier than ever to conveniently listen to and share your favourite tracks in great sound quality. The three new wireless speakers, SRS-X11, SRS-X33, and SRS-X55, come in a variety of colours and feature a compact design. Powerful sound quality combined with Bluetooth and NFC enable you to instantly connect your smart device and stream your music wherever you are. You can even use them as speaker phones to conveniently answer calls, all while enjoying your favourite tracks.

Wireless listening just got better with superb music quality via Bluetooth. Both the SRS-X33 and SRS-X55 feature Sony’s new LDAC audio technology which allows Bluetooth[1] transmissions to carry up to three times more data than existing wireless technology, giving you higher quality wireless audio to enhance your listening experience[2]. Helping the SRS-X33 and SRS-X55 make your favourite tunes come to life are Sony’s S-Master, DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) and ClearAudio+ technologies. Combined together, they improve the bass and clarity, and restore audio quality to deliver rich, refined sounds.

SRS-X55: The Speaker for Every Situation
For a compact speaker, the SRS-X55 reaches new levels of sound quality combined with an incredibly stylish design. Its 2.1 channel system and dual passive radiators deliver a beat-dropping output power of 30W, enough to crank up your tunes for a great party.

With its internal rechargeable battery that lasts for 10 hours[3], hear the powerful sound you need while singing alone in the kitchen or when your friends come for a visit.

SRS-X33: Great Sound Quality Just Got Smaller
Displaying a significant reduction in both size and weight from its predecessor the SRS-X3, the SRS-X33 delivers outstanding sound quality while fitting nicely in your bag. Perfect for enjoying music wherever you go, its internal rechargeable battery lasts 12 hours[4], so you can stay entertained all day long.

With a total output of 20W, a 2 channel speaker system and dual passive radiators, you can turn up the volume without distortion.

SRS-X11: Big Sound from a Tiny Body
With its tiny 61mm x 61mm x 61mm cube-design, the SRS-X11 is the smallest speaker in the range. Despite its small body, the SRS-X11 still packs a punch as it combines the power of 10W with two passive radiators, allowing you to enjoy a rich, deep bass.

Want to double the amount of sound? Use the “Speaker Add” function to connect two SRS-X11 units together to create twice the sound power in Double mode, or to split the sound signal for real stereo sound in Stereo mode.

With a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts approximately 12 hours[5], you can enjoy your music wirelessly all day long.

The SRS-X11 will come with a supplied silicon strap for easier portability.
