Face Detection

Smile Shutter

While shooting your original movie footage, Smile Shutter automatically detects and takes a photograph of your subject if he or she smiles. It’s a great way to record snapshots of smiling friends and family members!

GPS Tagging

GPS technology now allows you to search for the footage you want to playback, simply by touching the spot on the Touch Screen map where you shot it.

Optical Active SteadyShot

Many camcorders feature optical image stabilising systems but they often fall short when shooting wide angle or when you are on the move. New Optical Active SteadyShot smooths out the motion ten times more effectively than ordinary systems.

Highlight Playback

High capacity HDD Handycam models capture hours and hours of footage which can make editing a little daunting. But with the Highlight Playback feature your Handycam automatically creates an edited highlights package complete with a music soundtrack.

High Resolution Stills
