Sony Foundation, together with CanTeen are gearing up to launch a national fundraising campaign to raise $15 million to build youth cancer centres across Australia.
A public appeal to address the need for specialised services and facilities for 15-30 year old cancer sufferers in Australia. “Buy-a-Builder” asks people to buy a customisable virtual builder (or avatar) and send him/her to work in an effort to raise funds to build age appropriate wards to treat teenage and young adult cancer patients.
