Amazing camera! Waiting for more accessories for it!

Although I have had the camera for only a few days, it feels great in the hand and performs just as I had hoped. I will be selling my Sony A7Rii and its kit because, at 86, I find it too heavy.

I bought this to take high quality photos because the quality of phone cameras is not good enough. You will not be disappointed with this camera, suggest buying a lens if you want to zoom more. Camera is so good the video it shoots is to good for my pc, but it can be charged from H265 to H264 in the camera so older computers can handle the video.

bought as a second camera mainly for holidays and used it for it immediately for a trip to Faro. The size and weight of the camera plus a lens suits me perfectly, the autofocus is amazing, its certainly better than my SonyA7 4. I can imagine this being my main camera! Wish it had a joy stick though!

This was my first Sony camera purchased since moving across from Nikon Z. Fully Featured camera in a compact design. Eye autofocus snaps on and is outstanding. 10Bit video is superb, Articulating screen is great for selfie or low level photography/video.. Absolutely love this camera.

I’m usually using Sigma 30mm f/1.4 on my old Sony a6000, it works perfectly in every situations. But when I’m use Sigma on my new Sony a6700 with 1.01 firmware at the beginning, I was surprised that my camera freeze for a few seconds then I can use it again, in some case in rush time I need to remove and attach the lens or battery to make it work again, its kind of disturbing error bug for me. Then I’m update the firmware to 1.02 but nothing fix after all. But when I change the lens to Sony GM 14mm F/1.8, the bug was gone, Its relieved that I know my camera is not broken. And I’m also took a look on some forums about this bug, and the cases are the same, Sony a6700 freeze using Sigma Lens. I don’t know is there another lens’s brand have a same bug issue like Sigma does. Please make some update to fix this bug. Thank you.

Feature-packed camera that makes it stand out the rest of APS-C camera available. Quality of the output is just better. A literal an A7 series mini like camera.

The quality of photos and videos produced is superb. However there's only one thing that bothers me; it overheat easily on 4K 50p recording. Updated the firmware to V1.02 and there's not much difference. The solution is to buy cooling fan for the camera and it will solve the problem!

Despite owning an A1 and A7S3 I found myself needing something smaller and easier to carry for family day’s out etc and to grab videos for stock and much more. I debated long and hard on this choice and I must say it’s now my favourite camera!

love the image quality and every it brought to me after upgrading from my nikon d3300. i have this issue where, when taking photos, the camera would sometime shutoff while taking stills for (5-7 secs), as is you were taking a long exposure photo. i would switch it off then back on and the screen would not come back on on immediately. the display would come on the seconds later and no functions would be available for about 4 secs....then the camera would come back fully functional. it did this to me in a wedding 5 times, its like glitch, and we dont shoot in burst mode, only single. i thought it was the original sony flash i bought that was causing it, but it still happened while working with natural sunlight. the video is fine. no complains at all, im so glad to finally have a great video camera after all these years. but my camera is practically new, no falls or water spills, this is my new baby. for context, i use the pro grade 128gb UHSII cards, sigma 30mm f1.4, auto review setting on so i can see my compositions as i capture them, everything else i leave as is and i am completely baffled as to why im having this experience. i don't if this is a firmware issue as i can assure you this occurs in room temperature environs with the high setting on

Bought this from Sony 313, excellence customer service from the team, and very user friendly camera, decided go for APSC instead of Full Frame due to it compact size especially for the lens. Hope it come with more APSC lens choice like SEL 15mm F1.4

Extremely disappointed from my experience with Sony. Was considering whether to buy a camera for my overseas hiking trip and bought my first mirrorless camera a6700 from Sony. Sales person mentioned I can charge my camera using any type c cable. After I bring my camera home, most of my type c cable (cables from original Jabra earphone to android phone type c) at home doesn't charge the camera. Finally one of my type c cable will charge the camera but after 4 hours, the battery only charge for 15%. Took me 4 days after work to fully charge the camera. Turn on my camera at home and notice battery at 80+%, turn off and went out for meal. Went to the airport and turn on the camera 8hours later and the camera can't turn on. If this happened overseas, it will be a total waste of money to buy a camera that doesn't work when needed

I have been using cameras, all different brands and types for what seems like forever, for me this is the best camera body I have ever used. The perfect size, power and features for me. As an APSC camera is punches way above its weight and really is a full frame alternative. An all round perfect camera system, coupled with some fantastic purpose built lenses, what else can you ask for.

I was looking for a good affordable Sony Hybrid Camera and I chanced upon the A6700. The new AI is really good and it does really good low light for a APSC Camera. Overall it takes really good photos and videos and I have no regrets choosing it as my first camera

I purchased the A6700 as an upgrade to my A6300 and wow what an upgrade! So much new tech in this camera, articulated touch screen, far superior menu system - laid out in such away that makes it much easier to use. Handling is much improved with a larger grip. Focusing is lighting quick and accurate, locks on to human eyes, animal etc. All in all a huge upgrade and a powerful camera in a compact APS-C format. I would definitely recommend.

I got this camera in end September. For a new comer, alpha 6700 Alpha 6700 is easy to used high specifications camera. The Menu is simplified and easy to navigate. Everything is good except the pricing of Sony original lens is on higher side when compare to other brands.

This is truly a must upgrade. It literally checks all the boxes for me. Active stabilization, 5-axis in body stabilization, flip screen, touch screen menu, AI auto focus, better battery, better grip, thank god for no flash! One issue is that it freezes occasionally with Sigma lenses (such as the Sigma 56mm). Hopefully Sigma or Sony will come up with a fix soon!

Pretty solid build with new stabilized sensor for hobbyist like me to capture important moment. Bring a good lens, get out there and take great photo.

I thought it would be a great camera to compliment my A77ii and move to Emount and use my Amount lenses with a Sony adapter.

I bought this product owing to my age, and it being light.

Only managed to give the camera a run for the features recently after pre-ordering it. Still learning to use it, but first dibs impression is solid. Quick response, menu is easier to use. Touchscreen is a plus. If you compare feature to feature with other brands, it may not be the best. But for someone with a few Sony APSC lens, this camera gives a boost to what I can do behind the lens. If you are a feature freak, this camera may not appeal to you, but do not slam it and say it's an inferior camera. If you have been using Sony, looking for a hybrid camera that works, small in size and lighter in weight, not going for super low light shooting conditions {full frame works better}, then consider this camera. Overall cost of owning the camera and lens is lower than a full frame camera with equivalent lens.
