What is JEITA measuring standard?

    Measuring conditions based on JEITA Measuring Methods for Battery Operating Time (Ver.1.0).

    JEITA stands for Japan Electronic Information Technology Association (Ver 1.0).

    JEITA measuring standard is based on the following conditions.

    Settings:
    1. Screen saver: None.
    2. Volume control: Mute.

    Select the Max Battery option and perform the following settings.

    JEITA Measuring Method A
    1. Disable the Low Battery alarm option.
    2. System Standby: Never.
    3. System Hibernates: Never.
    4. Turn off monitor: Never.
    5. Set the brightness of LCD to the third Level (from the lowest).

    JEITA Measuring Method B
    1. Disable the Low Battery alarm option.
    2. System Standby: Never.
    3. System Hibernates: Never.
    4. Turn off monitor: Never.
    5. Set the brightness of LCD to the lowest level.
