Setting up the microphone for use with the Windows Speech Recognition feature in Microsoft® Windows® 7 Operating System.
- Connect the microphone to the computer.
- Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click Ease of Access.
- In the Ease of Access window, click Speech Recognition.
- In the Speech Recognition window, click Set up microphone.
NOTE: The Microphone Setup Wizard will start.
- In the Microphone Setup Wizard, select the type of microphone connected to the computer, and then click the Next button.
- In the Set up your microphone screen, follow the on-screen instructions to properly position the microphone, and then click the Next button.
- In the Adjust the microphone volume screen, follow the on-screen instructions to properly set the microphone volume level, and then click the Next button.
- In the Your microphone is now set up screen, click the Finish button.
