What is VR mode?
About VR mode.
VR Mode stands for “Video Recording Mode”. It is one of the recording formats for DVD-RW and DVD-RAM discs and is mainly used by DVD recorders. The main advantage of VR Mode is the ability to create DVDs in much less time than in Video Mode. However, this mode does not allow users to create menu screens or to record imported pictures to a DVD. To playback a DVD created in VR Mode, users should have a DVD player that supports the DVD-VR format.
Note: To use VR Mode, the computer must meet the following system requirements:
* To capture from an i.LINK connection, CPU is Intel Pentium 4 Processor with Hyper-Threading Technology 3.0 GHZ or higher. (Except Mobile Intel Pentium Processor)
* To capture from an analog video device, VAIO Zone software should be installed or a preinstalled version of Windows® XP Media Center Edition is needed.
