About Onetime Password.
Onetime password is the Sony original system to reset the power-on password. Its screen appears when an incorrect password is entered in power-on password 3 times consecutively.
If users remember the power-on password, press the power button for more than 4 seconds to shut it down. Then, try the power-on password again to start the computer.
Note: Num Lock/Caps Lock keys are reflected on power-on password.
If users cannot remember the power-on password, please contact the local support center for help.
Note: Onetime password reset service is chargeable.
