Why can't MDs be played back after performing Windows Update?
MDs cannot be played back after updating the YAMAHA audio driver through Windows Update.
To resolve this symptom, please disable the Mute option in the Line column of the Volume Control dialog box with the steps below.
1. Click Start and click Control Panel.
2. Click Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices.
3. Click Sounds and Audio Devices.
4. Click Advanced.
5. In the Line column, disable the Mute option.
To resolve this symptom, please disable the Mute option in the Line column of the Volume Control dialog box with the steps below.
