When the Content error message appears, this is an indication that the device requires a software update to play the desired Internet content.
Sony Internet video devices have one of the following menu settings that will help you avoid errors that are easily fixed with a software update.
- Set the device to receive automatic updates. When this setting is set to On the device will automatically download updates.
- Set the update notification setting to On. When this setting is enabled, a notification will appear when a new update is available.
