CompactFlash card Image Recovery Service

Important Note

1. The Sony CompactFlash card 66x (NCFB) series and CompactFlash cards made by manufacturers other than Sony are not supported.
2. Depending on the condition of the CompactFlash card and any other relevant circumstances, full restoration of the data may not be possible with this service. Sony cannot be held responsible for data that is not or cannot be restored. Customers should also note that not all file types can be recovered by this service.
3. Only the CompactFlash card should be submitted to Sony for performance of the Service. Other hardware should not be submitted unless specifically requested by Sony.
4. Sony does not provide analysis services, such as tracking the cause of the CompactFlash card data corruption.
5. After the data is restored, we will return the CompactFlash card to the customer with a CD-R or DVD-R containing the restored data.
6. Operating systems and application software stored in CompactFlash cards are not recoverable.
7. If the data cannot be restored, we will check that the card is fault-free and return the CompactFlash card as received.
8. Sony shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused to customers in the recovery and/or shipment process.
9. While conducting the CompactFlash card Image Recovery Service, Sony may view data stored on the CompactFlash card. Personal or other information acquired from viewing such data will be kept secret and will not be disclosed to third parties. However, this does not apply to data that does not comply with local law or other legal requirements.
