This was a really nice radio but after 18 months the on/off slider switch broke. I contacted my official repair dealership and they told me that the switch was not available as a spare. The radio cost £70 for 18 months - not very good value.

The DAB/DAB+ performance is okay in strong signal areas, but not great in weaker areas. The FM side is more reliable in those weaker signal areas and is quite good. This makes it a VERY expensive FM MONO radio. Stereo is via the 3.5mm jack socket ONLY. No bluetooth speaker or headphones capability, didn't realise this at the time as MOST other makes do have this at the time it was released and particularly the price point was so high in comparison to those. The Complete lack of an Alarm clock or the ability to turn on the radio at a specified time. Had I realised this in advance, I would NOT have purchased this quite ordinary device. In conclusion, in my opinion, No bluetooth or Alarm function is a gross oversight and makes this a Very expensive radio by comparison to the competition. DON'T BUY IT. I regret this purchase.

Bought due to it’s size and features and it fits the bill. Easy to set up and sounds good.

I bought this to replace a broken radio and this one is much more solid and well built. It doesnt need batteries as it's recharged from a USB socket. Its small enough to go in a pocket is just very useful...

This radio is small enough to fit in a pocket but loud enough to take out for a picnic, allotment or other occasion. It is incredibly easy to tune radio channels and looks stylish. If I had a gripe or two it would be that it is a bit expensive and it is made in China. Other than that, this little radio packs a punch and is so useful.

I bought this radio about 2 weeks ago, I’ve since bee well pleased, I was looking for a small radio that would fit in my pocket, I can carry it around the garden, no problems ,very good sound and reception,,Thank You Sony

Worth buying, l broke the back stand and antenna, still looking, but am happy with the product.

Simple to use and surprisingly strong, clear sound from a tiny unit. Plugs into USB for charging which is fantastic and one less power socket needed.

received few hours ago excellent item top performance

Bought for me by my Brother-in-law for my birthday, I thought something that small couldn't possible supersede my 14 year old XDRS50, but for its size, it's a tremendous wee radio.

I have now had this pocket radio for some time and find it very good indeed and a convenient size. Sound quality is excellent. The only issue I have had I'd the pull out steady at the back to prevent it toppling over. It broke when the radio fell to the floor and now is no use. But a relatively small inconvenience.

For such a small product it does all the I require from a Dab+ radio. It is rare that I have to extend aerial for better reception.

For those of us who remember growing up with a little transistor radio, this is pure nostalgia. But of course it's better: rechargeable battery, better sound, clever electronics. Well done Sony.

Christmas gift for my husband from our daughter - easy to tune and great sound - ideal for the garden and indoors as well.

Very pleased so far but have only had it a week. My only concern is the much talked about weak on off switch so I am being very careful with it. The build is not as solid as a larger Sony DAB Radio that I have or a Roberts Pocket radio and for the price I think this is something Sony need to address.

This is an excellent little radio, although I did have a couple of issues. I found that without picking up the radio and looking at the band change buttons on the top, I could not locate them by feel (which I wanted to do if listening in bed at night) I combatted this by sticking some small planner board dots on them. Also, I purchased it as it said it could be run on the mains as well as battery; however, the plug for doing so does not come with it. That said, I am very pleased with it.

Easy set up, useful features and good sound quality.

I bought this radio for my 75yr old mother and she is very satisfied with it. It is simple to use and a very compact size. Would have got 5 stars if reception was always 100%.

Bought this from Sony as I trusted the brand. The speaker didn't work so can't rate the ease of use and quality

Set up is easy and can be refreshed when you move to a different town or country. The radio has a flip down stand at the back which stops it falling over. The rechargeable battery works well from any USB source. Nice piece of kit.

Bought this primarily to use with headphones and because of the size and lack of wi-fi coverage in my bedroom for the radio on my phone. Has lived up to my expectations.

Only bought today but really easy to set up presets, volume level seems adequate, really neat little unit. Time will tell if as good as it at first seems.

I bought two of these radios and both had a faulty on/off switch.
