Good on NEX 6 NP-FW50 - 2 batteries simultaneously
BCQM1 30 June 2014 by FrankFarkle (USA)
Simultaneously charges the NEX 6 camera battery (battery inserted in the body) and a loose spare NP-FW50 battery: 1) Connect the (NEX 6 supplied) mini-USB to USB cable. The mini-USB cable end to the camera body and the USB cable end to the BC-QM1 charger's USB slot. 2# Insert your spare NP-FW50 battery into the BC-QM1's charger cradle. When inserted, the battery mounts "sideways" at the bottom of the charger #i.e. ,when viewing the charger plugged into a wall AC receptacle#. The NP-FW50 battery looks tiny in the charger. Three yellow LEDs indicate the charge time - all 3 lit means your battery is fully charged. Fully depleted the NP-FW50 took a little over 3 hours to recharge. Charger is fairly large in a camera bag. But, because it can charge batteries from a number of other Sony mini digi-cam and camera products, it is useful when upgrading an existing camera system. #Believe it charges the Sony Alpha camera's batteries - check out all the other batteries it can charge#. Regardless of the charger's somewhat larger size, it travels everywhere in my bag. The BC-QM1 is a well-built and thought-out product. It is well worth the money - it charges 2 batteries at once, charges reasonably quickly and works for a number of Sony products.
Very Good quality at the same time very expensive

Charges well but very pricey. Versatile product charges all kind of batteries made by Sony for the video cameras But really expensive as compared to the competition.

It seems to be for multiple batteries Little bit large for travelling but essential My old Sony battery charger albeit for a smaller camera was great.

It is small enough for travel. It is an excellent charger. Had no problems with it and worked as expected.

Very handy

I shoot with a Sony VG30 and also use an A6000. Being able to charge any of my Sony batteries for either camera is great when I'm on the road. The additional USB charge also comes in very handy as I can charge a GoPro or my Phone at the same time as another camera battery.

Good designed battery charger

This is a great battery charger. Its allows me to charge two of the main battery types I have, so only need to take one charger with me. The USB power out on it s great, so I can charge a Action Cam or iPhone while also charging a battery.

Great having one charger for multiple batteries
BC-QM1 03 April 2015 by Jerrez (United Kingdom)
Bought two as I hadn't really thought about it's boost charging but could have got away with one. The boost charging works very well and I'm also pleased to advise it works well with non-OEM batteries which I thought might be tricky. Very good charger Sony - well done

Great Charger!

I purchased this because I wanted a fast charger for my new RX10 camera. This charger does the job very well and you have the opportunity to place the charger on "fast charge" if you so require. the downside is that its quite expensive - but then its a great charger to use.
