I bought this unit 18 months ago and very happy with the sound quality and its features.

Haven't owned a Sony Head unit before but so glad I picked it this time. Is a beautiful unit I am so happy with it. Easy to operate menu, don't have to be a rocket scientist to operate it. Plays all my burned CD's and the USB plays flac files which my whole music collection is flac so I just copy it to a USB stick and plug it in. Produces beautiful sound too. I am a fan of Sony Xplod speakers and now their head units I am a fan of too. With the right fitting kit and the right preset setting in the stereo, the steering wheel controls work too. Couldn't be happier! Thank you.

This radio has excellent sound quality, and is able to pickup more stations than my old radio. Its also nice to be able to chance the display colors. My only complaints are with the control interface, more specifically the volume/selection nob/button. It is too easy to accidentally bump the nob, thus entering the menus, when trying to adjust the volume. It would have been better to have a different button for selecting, and used pushing the volume button to mute/unmute the radio. I am not sure if my radio is bad or I keep bumping the above mentioned menu button, my radio seems to occasionally switch into demo mode. It doesn't seem to be losing power, as the radio doesn't cut out or lose stations. I am just driving down the road, listening to the radio, when it's screen starts flashing and changing collars. When I stop, I have to go back into the menus and disable demo mode. Again, I might me accidentally changing it while adjusting the volume. Other than that, this a great radio.

I brought this 1 month ago. The sound quality is good but the software (Music center) has a lot of bugs. Sometimes gives bluetooth errors and it does not connect with the cd receiver. I did not find any software or firmware updates on the official website.

Found the initial set up very frustrating, once eventually completed it seems OK.

this is a great stereo for your car with bluetooth, a usb socket and a cd drive. there is a slightly weird effect when playing via bluetooth and there's an blip, the playback speeds up for a second or to and it sounds weird but i can live with that.

1999 Mercedes convertible...older AM/FM etc audio system. How to listen to SiriusXM...? This Sony fit the car, picks up the satellite signal, has many presets available, a USB port, phone connection...! Hooah!!

This unit functions as described and is easy to set up and use. The sound quality is excellent even through he stock speakers. I am changing out the stock speaker in favor of new sony speakers.
