Equipped with 64 GB of built-in memory, the microphone can record audio independently without requiring additional devices. It also connects to smartphones and PCs, supporting a wide range of recording applications.
Capture both quiet and loud sounds
The microphone supports 32bit float recording, letting you capture audio data without needing to chase the right recording levels when on set to protect your signals from distortion. The recorded files are stored to the microphone's 64 GB internal storage.
Up to four channels of audio output
When up to four ECM-W5T micophones are used in combination with the ECM-W5R Wireless Receiver, you can record up to four channels of professional-grade digital audio wirelessly in-camera. Each speakers can each be recorded on a separate track, providing an easy-to-edit workflow for conversations and interviews.
High reliability
The 3.5mm jack on the microphone is a locking type, which prevents accidental cable disconnection during recording. The included wind screen reduces noise caused by strong wind or breath hitting the microphone. This lets you record confidently outdoors. It’s well suited to live streaming and outdoor shoots.
Discreet mounting and flexible handling
The low-key appearance and logo design work well in situations where you don’t want the microphone to be clearly visible. Use clip and magnet attachment depending on the situation, allowing flexible mounting to clothing or surfaces. The upright form factor is easy to hold, making it suitable for handheld use during event reports and live streaming.
