Is my BRAVIA TV compatible with HDR?

For Android TV:
Every terminal on all Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs supports HDCP 2.2 protocol.

For TVs other than Android TVs:
Following models are compatible with HDCP 2.2.

  • 2018 models:
    Every terminal on X72xF Series and X70xxF_X73xF Series supports HDCP 2.2 protocol.
  • 2017 models:
    Every terminal on X67E_X69E series and X70E_X72E series supports HDCP 2.2 protocol.
  • 2014 models:
    The HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 terminals of all Sony 4K Ultra HD TVs support HDCP 2.2 protocol.
  • 2013 models:
    The HDMI 4 terminal of the KDL-X8500A/X850A series supports HDCP 2.2 protocol.
    NOTE:When viewing 4K contents via a Sony 4K Ultra HD media player on any 2013 models outside of the KDL-X8500A/X850A series, TV improvements by a Sony service center may be necessary.
