Initial settings of Google Assistant on your wireless headphones

Preparations
- Wireless Headphones that support Google Assistant
Supported headphones models:
- WH-1000XM2,WI-1000X (firmware version 2.0.1 or later must be installed)
Headphone firmware update information
- WH-1000XM3,WH-H900N,WH-CH700N,WI-P600N (firmware version 3.0.0 or later must be installed)
Headphone firmware update information
- WH-1000XM2,WI-1000X (firmware version 2.0.1 or later must be installed)
- Headphones Connect app (Version 3.1.0 or later of the Headphones Connect app must be installed)
- For Android (Required operating system version 5.0 or later)
- For iOS (Required operating system version 10.0 or later)
- Smartphone that supports Google Assistant app (The latest version of the Google Assistant app must be installed)

When using Google Assistant for the first time, change the function of the NC/AMBIENT or NC/AMB button and configure the initial settings for Google Assistant.
- Start the Headphones Connect app and connect your wireless headphone.
- Change the function of the NC/AMBIENT or NC/AMB button to Google Assistant.
Select Change the function of the NC/AMBIENT or NC/AMB button and select Google Assistant.
*WH- 1000XM2 is used as an example.
- Configure the initial settings of Google Assistant.
- For Android devices
Press and hold the smartphone's home button to start the Google Assistant app.
Tap Finish the headphones setup and follow the displayed instructions to complete the setting.
- For iOS devices
Start the Google Assistant app.
Tap Finish the headphones setup and follow the displayed instructions to complete the setting.
