There is no system sound or voice response sound from the TV when connected via eARC.

If you enable the eARC mode on your TV, and you're watching a video from an external device connected with an HDMI cable, the TV prioritizes the audio signal that passes through from the external device, and you won't hear the system sound when navigating the menu, or the voice response when using the Voice search feature of your TV. This is normal operation.

NOTE: The TV will output both sounds when watching from a USB device, streaming service, or broadcast.
