How to display subtitles on the TV screen

• The subtitle feature is enabled by pressing the SUBTITLE (CC) button on the TV remote control.
• This feature is available for TV broadcasts and apps (subtitles may not be available for all content).

Subtitles for TV broadcasts

Two types of subtitles may be available, depending on the TV program.
Press the SUBTITLE (CC) button on the TV remote control, then select either Basic or For hard of hearing.

• Basic: These subtitles only display the audio portion of the content.
• For hard of hearing: These subtitles display the audio portion and non-speech elements of the content, such as the sound of someone knocking on a door.
  Note: Your TV will display For hard of hearing subtitles whenever they are available.

  How to display For hard of hearing subtitles

  1. On your TV remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
  2. Select Settings → System → Accessibility → Subtitle settings → Broadcast → Subtitle → For hard of hearing.

Subtitles for apps

Whether an app supports the subtitle feature depends on the app itself.

How to display subtitles on the TV screen

1. On the TV remote control, press the MENU button.
2. Select Subtitle → OK.
3. Select your preferred language.

Subtitles for TV broadcasts

Select the type of subtitles:

• Basic: These subtitles only display the audio portion of the content.

How to change the settings:

1. On the TV remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
2. Select System → Accessibility → Subtitle settings → Broadcast → Primary Language or Secondary Language.

Subtitles for streaming and other content

Optionally, you can change the Language, Text size, and Subtitle style:

1. On the TV remote control, press the Quick Settings button.
2. Select System → Accessibility → Subtitle settings → Streaming and other content.
3. Select your preferred item: Language, Text size, or Subtitle style.
