When I operate my host PC, to which a guest PC is connected with a parallel cable via Direct Cable Connection, to put it in the standby mode, I cannot re-connect the guest PC to the host.

When I operate my PC, to which a guest PC is connected with a parallel cable via Direct Cable Connection, to put it in the standby mode, the host PC normally enters into the standby mode with a dark screen and then it is disconnected from the guest PC.
After that, when I press the power button, the PC starts normally. But the window of the cable connection dialogue of the host PC shows a message, "Initializing parallel cable on LPT1".
Even though I try to establish connection again from the guest PC, I cannot do it.

When such a symptom occurs, you can avoid it by either of the following methods.
Method 1
On the host computer, displayed "Device Manager" by going to [Control Panel], double-click at [System] icon and click the "Refresh" button.
Method 2
If the problem still persist, you may need to restart the host PC and run the direct-cable connection again. After restart disable the power management to prevent the computer to go into stanby mode again.
