How to check the surplus capacity of battery?

Checking the surplus capacity of battery.

    The battery capacity can be checked using a related software or the Windows features.

    Different computer models have different methods to check surplus capacity of battery.
    Please refer to the following information to check the surplus capacity of battery.

    Please check the battery information in BatteryScope.

    1. Right-click the BatteryScope icon in the System Tray, and then click Battery information.

       

    2. Check the surplus capacity of battery.




    ■ Check in PowerPanel.
    Models sold from September 2000 to April 2004
    Please check it in the battery information of PowerPanel.

    2. Check surplus capacity of battery.

    Please follow the steps below.

    1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

    2. Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click Power Options.

    3. Click the Power Schemes option in the Power Options Properties interface.

    4. Check the surplus capacity of battery.

    Reference information

    If surplus capacity of battery: unknown appears, and Not exist display in all cradles, there may be a problem with the battery.


    ● Windows Vista

    1. Click the battery icon in the notification area.

    2. Check the surplus capacity of battery.

    Note:
    When the battery is fully charged, the battery icon of the computer pre-installed with Windows Vista is different from that of the computer which has been upgraded to Windows Vista.
