I cannot cancel the attributes of "Read-Only" of the customized folders such as "My Pictures" in the "My Documents" folder on Windows 2000.

    I cannot cancel the attributes of "Read-Only" of the customized folders such as "My Pictures" in the "My Documents" folder on Windows 2000.

    - I cannot change the attributes of the customized folders such as "My Pictures" in the "My Documents" folder.

    - If I customize a folder, I cannot change its attributes.

    (To reproduce the symptom)
    1. Create a new folder. Double-click the created folder to open it.

    2. Click the "View" menu and then click "Customize This Folder".

    3. When "Customize This Folder Wizard" starts, click the "Next" button.

    4. Click the option button of "Customize", turn on the checkbox of "Choose or edit an HTMS template for this folder" and then click the "Next" button.

    5. When the window of "Change Folder Template" appears, click "Next".

    6. Click the "Finish" button to finish the wizard and close the window.

    7. Right-click the icon of the customized folder and then click "Properties".

    8. When the dialog box of "Folder Properties" appears, turn off the checkbox of "Read-Only" and click the "OK" button.

    9. When the window of "Confirm Attribute Changes" appears, click the option button of "Apply changes to this folder only" and then click the "OK" button.

    10. Then, right-click the folder which attributes have been changed and click "Properties" to display "Folder Properties". But, the changes of attributes done with the
    above procedure 8 are not reflected there.

    You cannot change the attributes of the customized folder (e.g. "My Pictures").

    It is not possible to change the attributes of the customized folder (e.g. "My Pictures").
    Furthermore, when you customize other folders with "Customize This folder Wizard", their attributes become "Read-Only", which you cannot change.
