I cannot uninstall Windows Media Player in Windows Me.

Although you can remove Media Player 1.0, you cannot remove Windows Media Player 7.
Windows Me includes two versions of Media Player:
- Microsoft Windows Media Player 7
- Media Player 1.0

To remove or add Media Player, refer to the following procedure.
This check box adds or removes the Media Player 1.0 component, not Windows Media Player 7. Windows Media Player 7 is not removable.

1, Click [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel].
2, Double click [Add/Remove Programs] and click [Windows Setup] tab.
3, Click [Multimedia] and then click [Details] button.
4, Remove the check from [Media Player] and then click [OK] button.
5, Media Player component will be removed when you press [OK] or [Apply] button in [Add/Remove Programs].

** Put a check in a box of [Media Player] in Step 4 when you want to install again.
