Sony's OpenMG is a platform technology that delivers seamless connection across a broad range that covers online content services, consumer electronic devices and recording media.
Users can add protection to the music files. The encrypted files can just be played on the device which recorded the files.
The Add copyright protection function is now optional in SonicStage 3.2 when encoding an audio CD.
