Making a Bluetooth device undetectable by other users via BluetoothTM Stack for Windows® by TOSHIBA Utility.
For security purposes, users may not want their Bluetooth device to be detected by other users. Please perform the steps below:
1. Right-click the Bluetooth wireless technology icon in the task tray, click Options and select the Security tab. The Bluetooth Security Level appears.
2. Select Custom Level.... in [Bluetooth Security Level] under [security] tab.
3. Check the [Not Discoverable] in Mode on [Security Settings].
The device is now undetectable by other users, even when they search for other devices.
