What is the Weather application and how do I use it in Windows 8?

The Weather application provides detailed information about the weather for your location. This is a preinstalled application provided by Microsoft.

1. Display the Charms menu by placing the cursor on the top right hand corner or bottom right hand corner.
    
2. Select Search.
   
3. Select Weather.
    
4. You will be prompted to turn on location services and allow the Weather application to use your current location in order to provide accurate reports.
   • Allow: Turns on location service to provide accurate weather report.
   • Block: Turns off the location service.
   
5. You can view the weather forecast for the week and also by hourly forecast.
    
6. Right Click and then select Refresh to refresh the data.
