Why can't the user write data on a CD-RW media that is formatted for DirectCD?
The following error message appears when I try to write data on a CD-RW media that is formatted for DirectCD. Why?
--Error Message--
" This media is not appendable. Insert a blank or appendable media. (Code:001-02-1026)"
It is not possible to write data on a CD-RW media that is formatted for DirectCD, or the media that is already written with DirectCD.
However, by executing Erase CD-RW of Drag'n Drop CD, the CD-RW media becomes writable. In order to perform that operation please refer to the following procedure:
1. Right-click on the Drag'n Drop CD icon on the lower right corner of the desktop.
2. Click Erase CD-RW.
3. Select the Full erase option button, and then click Start.
