Why doesn't the printer print even though a Processing jobs message is displayed every few minutes?
A Processing jobs message is displayed every few minutes and the LED of the printer is flashing continuously, but there is no printout.
This is due to the specifications of operating system. As the bidirectional support function is not a basic requirement for printing, try to disable the function.
For the detailed specifications of the printer, please refer to the printer manual or contact the manufacturer.
To disable the bidirectional support function, please follow the steps below.
1. Click the Start, point to All Programs, point to Sony Notebook Setup and click Sony Notebook Setup.
2. Click Printer and select the ECP option.
3. Click OK.
