- Q5. I can’t hear my record on my computer while recording, what should I do?
- A5. If you can hear the sound only after recording, but not while the recording is in progress, turn on Software Playthrough (or Input Monitoring) in your recording software. This allows the audio coming from the turntable to be played through your computer’s speakers or headphones in real time.
-
Note: The name and location of this setting may vary depending on the recording software you are using.
- Q6. The platter is not spinning, what should I check?
- A6. Check the following in order:
-
- Make sure the drive belt is completely hooked around the motor pulley.
Note: If the drive belt is not hooked or it is hooked on another place, the platter will not turn. For details on hooking the drive belt, refer to the Operating Instructions of the turntable.
- Make sure the drive belt is not twisted.
Hint: You can check the condition of the drive belt by removing the platter mat and slowly turning the platter by hand.
- Make sure the Power On/Off button on the back of your turntable is set to ON.
- Make sure the AC adaptor is firmly connected to a power outlet and the USB port on the turntable.
- If the issue continues, reset the platter and tone arm to their default positions. This can help stabilize platter rotation and tone arm movement.
- Remove the string that is used to secure the tone arm.
- Press the UP/DOWN button to raise the tone arm.
- Slowly turn the platter 10 times clockwise by hand.
- Press the UP/DOWN button to lower the tone arm.

Hint: The turntable supports SBC (Subband Codec) and Qualcomm aptX audio.
- Q9. I can’t connect the turntable to my Bluetooth device.
- A9. If there are other Bluetooth devices nearby, turn off their Bluetooth function and then try pairing again.
- Q10. The turntable is connected to the wrong Bluetooth device.

- Q11. Can I connect the turntable to a smartphone, TV, or computer via Bluetooth?
- A11. You cannot pair the turntable with a smartphone, TV, or computer via Bluetooth.
Hint: This turntable works as a Bluetooth audio sender, not a receiver. It can transmit sound to Bluetooth speakers or headphones, but it cannot receive audio from phones, TVs, or computers.
- Q12. The Bluetooth connection range is shorter than expected.
- A12. Wireless interference may be causing this issue. Try the following:
- If other devices are connected to the turntable or to the connected Bluetooth speaker or headphones, disconnect them.
- Plug the turntable into a wall outlet that is not shared with a microwave oven.
- Place the turntable on a non-metallic surface.
- Q13. I can’t adjust the volume when using Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- A13. This issue may occur if you are using speakers or headphones that meet either of the following conditions:
- The speakers or headphones don't have buttons or keys to adjust the volume
- Some Bluetooth speakers or headphones have volume buttons, but they do not control the volume of the Bluetooth audio coming from the turntable.
Hint: AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) is a Bluetooth feature that allows a playback device to control functions such as play, pause, and volume. Even if your Bluetooth speaker or headphones support AVRCP, this turntable does not. This means the speaker or headphones cannot control the turntable’s volume or playback. Volume must be adjusted directly on the speaker or headphones instead.
If you are using Sony speakers or headphones that do not have buttons or touch sensors for AVRCP control, they can adjust their own volume internally, so this issue will not occur.
- Q14. There is no sound, or the sound is distorted when using Bluetooth.
- A14. Try the following:
- Press the BLUETOOTH button on the turntable to turn Bluetooth off, then press it again to turn Bluetooth on.
- To avoid these issues, turn on the speaker or headphones first and let them wait for a Bluetooth connection. Then press the BLUETOOTH button on the turntable to connect.

For additional details, refer to the following section in the Operating Instructions: 'Replacing the Stylus → To attach the replacement stylus'.
- Q18. What should I do before sending the turntable in for repair?

- Remove the platter mat and the platter from the turntable, and place the drive belt on the back of the platter.
For details, refer to 'Assembling the Turntable' in the Operating Instructions. - Secure the tone arm so it cannot move. Pass a soft string through the hole below the tone-arm rest and tie the tone arm to the rest.
- Pack all parts so they do not touch or hit each other during shipping.
Hint: We recommend keeping the original packaging and using it whenever you transport the turntable.
