Master Cut (Beta) service will be discontinued as of March 24, 2026.
You will be able to access and use Master Cut (Beta) as usual until March 24, 2026.

Going forward, please use Catalyst Browse / Prepare / Prepare Plugin.

• Clip adjustment features such as image stabilization are available in Catalyst Prepare / Browse. Furthermore, the Catalyst Prepare Plugin allows you to use these features directly within third party tools Adobe Premiere or Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve.
• The audio source separation feature which was well received in Master Cut (Beta) has been integrated into Catalyst Prepare ver.2025.3 (or later), released in October 2025.

• Video clips used in Master Cut (Beta) are stored in the Creators' Cloud "Storage." Thus, your content on Master Cut (Beta) will not be deleted due to this change. Still, should you wish to save your content to your local device, feel free to do so.

• Frame rate: For 59.94p, 29.97p, 50p, 25p, or 23.98p, corresponds to the input value. In other cases, fixed at 59.94p.
• Bit rate: About the same as the input level. Bit rates may be lower, depending on the video.
• Video codec: AVC, XAVC-SFor videos from Sony cameras, color difference and bit depth correspond to the input values.
• Audio codec: 2 channels, 16 bit Corresponds to the input values.
