How to enable Menu timeout (Time to take action) on your Google TV™

The Quick Settings / Settings and Control menu will close after a short period of inactivity.
If you need more time to read the menu and perform actions, you can extend the Menu timeout (Time to take action) by following the steps below.

How to extend the Menu timeout

1. Open Accessibility settings

   Depending on your TV model, use one of the following methods.

   • Models with a Quick Settings button.
     1. Press the Quick Settings ( or ) button on the remote control.
     2. Select Settings.
     3. Select System (if available).
     4. Select Accessibility.
   • BRAVIA 6 (A60)
     1. Press the HOME button on the remote control.
     2. Press the Dashboard () button.
     3. Select Accessibility.
2. The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
   • Select Keyboard accessibility → Time to take action(accessibility timeout).
   • Select Time to take action(accessibility timeout).
   • Select Menu timeout → Extended 5 minutes.
