Use Photo Sharing Plus to Display Photos, Videos, and Songs on Your Bravia TV

With Photo Sharing Plus, you can connect, view, and save favorite photos, videos, and songs on your TV using devices such as smartphones or tablets.

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products.

• Photo Sharing Plus, which was available for some Bravia TVs, is now unsupported for some LCD TV and all Android TV™ models. For details about another way to view the content on the TV, refer to: How to play back the content stored in a mobile device on the TV screen

NOTES:

• Connect a USB flash drive to store up to 50 photos.
• Up to 10 smartphones or tablets can be connected to the TV at the same time.
• Maximum file size of each photo is 20 MB.
• You can also throw a background music with a maximum file size of 30 MB.
• The default browser for Android™ 2.3 or later is supported.
• The default browser for iOS is supported; however, some functions cannot be used depending on the version of your iOS.
• Music cannot be saved to a different device. Videos cannot be saved to iOS devices.

Setup

1. Enable the Renderer Function of your TV
   1. Press the HOME button.
   2. Select Settings.
   3. Select System Settings.
   4. Under System Settings category, select Set-up.
   5. Under Set-up category, select Network.
   6. Under Network category, select Home Network Setup.
   7. Select Renderer.
   8. Under Renderer category, select Renderer Function.
   9. Select On.
2. Start Photo Sharing Plus
   1. Press the HOME button.
   2. Select All Apps.
   3. Select Photo Sharing Plus.
   4. Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your device to the TV.
3. Connect the mobile device

   NOTES: The steps to connect the mobile device to the TV may vary. Check your mobile device manual for model-specific instructions.

   1. On your mobile device, select Settings.
   2. Select Wi-Fi Settings.
   3. Select the DIRECT-xx-BRAVIA Wi-Fi signal.
   4. Enter the Password displayed on your TV screen.
   5. Enter the URL https://192.168.49.1 on the browser of your mobile device.
   6. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Functions

To display photo on TV

1. Tap on your device to start.
2. Select a photo.
   • The selected photo will be displayed automatically on TV.

To save a photo displayed on TV

1. Tap thumbnail on your device, then hold the photo to open the context menu.
2. Select OK.
