How to set up the On timer (Turning on the TV at a specific time)

With the On timer function, you can set your TV to turn on automatically at a specific time. Waking up to see your favorite morning news program on the TV is one example of how convenient this feature is. The timer can also turn the TV off after a certain period of time (for example, if you forget to power it off before leaving home).
Notes: To enable the screen reading function, the Talkback feature (rather than Screen reader) is recommended.
Setting up the On timer
- On the TV remote control, press the Quick Settings (

) button.
- Select Timer or On Timer → Add.
- Press the Back button to turn the timer on.
The Timers or On Timers menu has eight different settings you can adjust: Time, Repeat, Date, Inputs, Channel, Volume setup, Duration, and Timer activation.
Note: To access multiple timer settings, press the Up arrow button and select Add.
- Time
- Using the Down arrow button, select the hour (from 00 to 23) to turn your TV on.
- In the same way, use the Down arrow button to select the minutes (from 00 to 59), and then press the OK button.
- Repeat
Select the day(s) to repeat the timer. - Date
Select your preferred choice. - Inputs
Select your preferred choice from the available broadcasting types and external inputs. - Channel
When your choice of input is a broadcast, select the channel as well.- Press the Down arrow button to select your preferred channel.
- You will be able to hear your channel selection.
- Volume setup
Select your preferred volume number. - Duration
Select your preferred hours (from 1 to 23) for keeping your TV on. - Timer activation
Select your preferred choice.
