The Bluetooth connection remains active when the headphones are stored in the charging case (WF-1000XM6)

    Possible cause

    If the earbuds remain connected to the Bluetooth device after being stored in the charging case, they may not be seated properly. For example, they may be slightly lifted. This can cause the headphones to remain powered on and stay connected to the Bluetooth device.

    Workaround

    Make sure the earbuds are properly placed in the charging case.

    How to check

    1. Place one earbud in the charging case, and confirm that the indicator on the case turns on for about 3 seconds.
    2. When the indicator turns off, place the other earbud in the charging case, and confirm that the indicator turns on again.
