Cannot connect my headphones with the Sony | Headphones Connect app

The Headphones Connect app does not detect the headphones.

    1. If the issue occurs, update the Sony | Headphones Connect app to the latest version and try the setup again.
      Note: Some headphones models require a certain version of the Sony | Headphones Connect app.
    2. If the issue is still not resolved, follow these steps:
      Note: Since each of these steps could resolve the issue, check to see if the problem is fixed after completing each step.
      1. Restart the mobile device.
      2. Place the headphones into the charging case, close the lid and, after a few seconds, remove them again.
      3. Reset the headphones.
      4. Initialize the headphones.
