Why does the MovieShaker Ver.2.0 error message appear and the movies I've created cannot be exported?
Why does the error message [Your system is low on virtual memory] appear when I try to export the movies that I've created, and afterwhich they cannot be exported?
This symptom may occur due to the low virtual memory setting.
You may be able to avoid the symptom by fixing the virtual memory size with the following procedure:
--In the case of Windows 2000--
1) Right-click on the [My Computer] icon and click [Properties].
2) Click the [Advanced] tab and click [Performance Options].
The [Performance Options] window appears.
3) Click the [Change] button in [Virtual memory]. The [Virtual Memory] box appears.
4) Select the hard disk drive that Windows is installed (default:C) in [Drive] box.
5) Enter the same size number higher than [512] in each test box of [Initial size] and [Maximum size]. (It is recommended to set the size higher than [1024])
Example: Set [1024] in each box of [Initial size] and [Maximum size].
6) Click the [Set] button and click [OK].
* Click [OK] when the message [The changes you have made require you to restart your computer before they can take effect] appears.
7) Click [OK] to close the [Performance Options] box and [System Properties] box.
8) Click [OK] to restart Windows when the [System Settings Change] message appears.
--In the case of Windows 98, Windows 98SE, and Windows Me--
1) Right-click on the [My Computer] icon and click [Properties].
2) Click the [Performance] tab and click the [Virtual Memory] button. The [Virtual Memory] dialog box appears.
3) Select the [Let me Specify my own virtual memory settings] option button.
4) Select the hard disk drive that Windows is installed in [Hard Disk] list box.
5) Enter the same size number higher than [512] in each test box of [Minimum] and [Maximum]. (It is recommended to set the size higher than [1024])
Example: Set [1024] in each box of [Minimum] and [Maximum].
6) Click [OK]. Click [Yes] when the [Confirm Virtual Memory Setting] dialog box appears.
7) Click the [OK] or [Close] button to close the [System Properties] window.
