[Windows Vista] How to burn data onto a CD/DVD?

    In Windows Vista, the following formats can be used to write data .
    • UDF Format
    Without operating the writing task, files can be deleted or added on a CD-R/RW or DVD. However, it may not be read on an older computer or CD Player
    • ISO Format
    With the ability to be read by an older computer or CD Player

    ■ How to burn in UDF format
    1. Insert the blank media into the CD/DVD drive of the computer.
    2. Wait until the Auto Play window appears. Then, click Burn Files to disc using Windows.

    If the Auto Play feature does not activate, click Start and click Computer. Then double-click the icon for the CD/DVD drive.
    1. Input disc title.
    2. Click show formatting options, choose Live File System and click the Next button.
    3. A calculating time remaining screen will appear. Click Yes to format the disc. It will take a few minutes.
    4. When formatting is completed, click the Start button and click Computer.
    5. Double-click icon for the CD/DVD drive, and drag the files to be written to the disc into the opened window.

    ■ How to burn in ISO format.
    1. Insert the blank media into the CD/DVD drive of the computer.
    2. Wait for the Auto Play window to appear. Click Burn Files to disc using Windows.

    If the Auto Play feature does not activate, click Start and click Computer. Then double-click the icon for the CD/DVD drive.
    1. Input disc title, and click show formatting options.
    2. Choose Mastered, and click the Next button.
    3. Drag the files to burn to the disc into the opened window, and click Write to disk.
    4. Choose the Write Speed, and click the Next button. Then click the Yes button.
    5. Click the End button.
